I first visited Park City in 1965 to ski and moved to Utah in 1969. My wife and I made Park City our home in 1981.

Years of teaching skiing on the beautiful mountains and  enjoying the funky historic town with all the fun events  inspired me to learn how to draw and capture the delightful essence of the Park City experience.

The more I painted the more I wanted to learn about painting and

the expression of art as an end in itself.

I practiced capturing the light with Pastels, plein air, as well as abstract expressive forms of color

with oils.

After years of adjustments and experimenting I have evolved to a point where I am

exploring all  aspects of the Park City experience with quick sketches, water colors, pen and ink and  my favorite media. . .Oil Painting.

My 50 years of memories and observations in Park City will take me years to capture in paintings and drawings!
